Ombeni Mwerinde

Ombeni Mwerinde is an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) professional with over 20 years of expertise in public health, epidemiology, and data management. He joined Unitaid in 2016, following his role as an Associate Public Health and M&E Specialist at the Global Fund. Prior to that, Ombeni served in the country office of UNFPA in Tanzania.
Ombeni holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Epidemiology. His dedication to enhancing public health outcomes drives his commitment to his work, as he finds profound meaning and fulfillment in contributing to the health and well-being of communities.
