We at UNITAID abhor the attacks in Paris that have killed 129 people, many of them young men and women in the prime of their lives.

Together the attackers have taken aim at the heart of our civilization, based on shared values of tolerance, democracy and respect for human rights, which find their highest expression in France.

Our hearts go out to the victims of a loathsome and cowardly assault, perpetrated by murderers driven by ignorance and hatred.
