When you find a call you would like to respond to, complete the eligibility check to ensure you qualify.

Complete the grant proposal form and required annexes and send it to proposalsUnitaid@unitaid.who.int before the specified deadline. Please note your proposal is considered submitted only once you receive confirmation – this is not an automated message and will be sent after verification of your submission, typically within one working day following receipt.

After submission, our team selects the best proposals and works with a review committee of independent global health experts to choose the strongest proposals based on their strategic alignment, impact, value for money, proposal design, potential risks, organizational capacity and budget.

We will inform you if your proposal has been selected and, if it has, invite you to develop the grant. This does not yet guarantee that Unitaid will fund the proposed project – a final decision will be taken by our Executive Board at the end of the grant development process.

Working closely with our team, you will develop a full-fledged grant which will be sent to our Executive Board for approval.

The grant is agreed, funding approved, and the real work begins!
